for labor day, my lovely parents treated us to a weekend on the island. if you have known us for any length of time, you have undoubtedly heard us reference, "the island." the island is washington island which is on lake michigan, off of the most northern tip of door county, wisconsin. this is also where i spent many of my childhood vacations. and most importantly, this is where andy and i met.
suffice it to say, the island holds a dear place in our hearts and it was the most perfect place for a weekend away.
