here are some pictures from portland's famous last thursday...
these first couple photos should give you some idea of the craziness that ensues.
basically, alberta street (a unique arts district in portland) closes down for the night and all kinds of vendors come out of the woodwork. there is no vendor fee so you see all kinds of people and items for sale... vegan cupcakes galore, dried herbs, lots of musicians and artwork, tie dye t-shirts, etc. etc. etc.
among the many vendors @ last thursday, andy has decided to join the ranks (see below).
